The ZPM cuttings dryer is designed for high-efficiency separation of drilling fluids, significantly reducing the content of drilling cuttings in these fluids. This dryer effectively lowers the disposal percentage, making it highly beneficial for zero-disposal applications.

The system efficiently recycles drilling mud through a solids control system, allowing for the recovery of lost mud due to equipment failures and other issues. Additionally, common spare parts are easily replaceable, ensuring minimal downtime. The tungsten carbide alloy knives on the cones are also interchangeable, which helps to reduce the likelihood of overall device failure.

The dryer is engineered for high-efficiency separation of drilling fluids, significantly minimizing the content of drilling cuttings. This dryer reduces disposal percentages, making it highly beneficial for zero-disposal applications. It effectively separates and recycles drilling mud through a solids control system, allowing for the recovery of lost mud due to equipment failures and other issues.

The Vertical Cuttings Dryer utilizes centrifugal force to dry drilled solids in oil or synthetic base fluids. A stainless steel screen bowl captures “wet” solids and accelerates them up to 900 RPM, generating a G-force of up to 420G.

As liquid is forced through the screen bowl openings, “dry” solids are extracted by the angled flights attached to the cone, which rotate slightly slower than the bowl. The tungsten carbide coating protects the flights from abrasive solids, ensuring a long operational life. This design helps maintain a consistent gap between the scroll and screen bowl, crucial for optimal performance.
