Screw conveyor is also called an auger feeder. Usually, the screw diameter has 4 options: 10 inch, 12inch, 16 inch, 20 inch; screw length is customer-built too, but commonly there are 12~48feet. Furthermore, depending on the clients’ demand, the screw conveyor will be made of different materials. Including carbon steel, stainless steel is graded differently.
Screw conveyor is also referred to as an auger feeder. They can be used as the transfer unit of drilling cuttings to the cuttings dryer, also the unit to transfer disposal to the cuttings tank or collection container. The length can be custom-built according to the actual working conditions.
Actually, the auger feeder is not only used in oilfield waste management but also in other applications. Such as the chemical industry, the construction industry, the food industry, the mining industry, and so on. The angle of the conveyor is customizable for different work sites. For cuttings transfer, we usually use a U-type conveyor and a round tube type conveyor.
